- You are responsible for ensuring that all travelers possess valid passports, visas, health documentation (including vaccinations, if required), and any other travel documents required for their destinations and any transit points. TechZi Trav can provide general advice on documentation but is not responsible for errors or omissions if you fail to secure the correct documents.
- You are responsible for checking all booking confirmations and travel documents issued by TechZi Trav or travel suppliers for accuracy upon receipt and notifying us immediately of any discrepancies.
- You agree to comply with all rules and regulations of the airlines and other travel suppliers.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services and make bookings.
4. Booking Process, Payments, and Fees
- Booking Confirmation: Flight availability, pricing, and fare rules are subject to change until a booking is confirmed by the airline or supplier and ticket(s) are issued. A booking is considered confirmed only when you have received a formal confirmation and e-ticket or booking reference from us or the airline.
- Pricing: Prices quoted are not guaranteed until tickets are issued. Quotes may include base fare, taxes, airport charges, and any applicable TechZi Trav service fees. All prices will be itemized and explained by your travel advisor.
- Payment: All payments for Services are typically processed securely over the telephone by our travel advisors. We accept various forms of payment, which will be advised at the time of booking. By providing your payment details, you authorize TechZi Trav and/or its affiliated payment processors to charge the agreed amount.
- Service Fees: TechZi Trav may charge service fees for arranging, booking, and managing your travel. Any such service fees are non-refundable (unless otherwise stated or required by law) and will be clearly communicated to you by your advisor before you commit to a booking.
- Airline and Supplier Charges: You are responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of your use of the products and services available from the airlines and other suppliers.
5. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
- Policies regarding changes, cancellations, and refunds are primarily dictated by the terms and conditions of the respective airlines and other travel suppliers. These policies vary significantly and can be restrictive and/or incur substantial fees.
- Your travel advisor will inform you of the specific change and cancellation policies applicable to your booking at the time of reservation or upon request.
- If you wish to change or cancel your booking, you must contact TechZi Trav as soon as possible. We will assist you in accordance with the supplier's policies.
- TechZi Trav may charge an administrative service fee for processing any changes or cancellations, in addition to any charges levied by the airline or supplier. This fee will be advised to you before any action is taken.
- Refunds, if applicable, are subject to the airline's or supplier's policy and process. TechZi Trav will facilitate refund requests on your behalf but cannot guarantee the outcome or timeframe, as this is controlled by the supplier. Our service fees are generally non-refundable.
6. Travel Insurance
TechZi Trav strongly recommends that you and all members of your party purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to travel. Adequate travel insurance should cover medical expenses, personal accident, loss of baggage, cancellation, curtailment, and other potential risks. It is your responsibility to ensure the insurance cover you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs. We can provide general information but do not sell or endorse specific insurance products.
7. Limitation of Liability
- TechZi Trav acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers (collectively "Suppliers"). We do not own, operate, manage, or control these Suppliers. Therefore, we are not liable for any act, omission, default, or negligence of any Supplier, nor for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expense, or other irregularity that may be caused by any Supplier or their employees, agents, or representatives.
- Our liability for our own negligence in providing the Services is limited, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to the total service fee paid by you to TechZi Trav for the specific transaction in question from which the claim arises.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- We are not liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these Terms that is caused by an event outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event), including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.
